Settlers of Catan Demo... Yet Another Poke in the Eye from Microsoft.
Joystiq had a post about the new Setters of Catan demo up at MSN games. The demo is one of the most restrictive demos I have ever seen. Settlers takes about and hour or two to play. The demo is for one hour and when I mean 1 hour I mean from start up till one hour later. If you close the game you are ticking away your hour. Which mean that I didn't even get to finish a game. Nuts to that. The 1 hour demo left such a bad taste in my mouth that I'm definatly not going to pick up the game. On the other hand the Half Life Demo which allows you to save and play two levels for however long you want has made up my mind to pick that up when the funds present themselves.
